In the second quarter of 2022, the top travel and local apps in Romania demonstrated notable performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at the trends for the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 11.4K at the end of March and peaking at approximately 27.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users also saw a steady climb, beginning at 166K and reaching around 272K by the end of the quarter.

Lime - #RideGreen experienced a significant spike in downloads in early April, reaching almost 27.6K, before stabilizing to a range of 6.5K to 7.2K towards the end of June. The app's weekly active users grew from 34.6K at the end of March to about 49.3K by the end of June.

OMV MyStation in Romania saw a substantial increase in downloads, with numbers jumping from 26K in mid-June to approximately 47.2K in the following week, before settling at around 32.6K by the end of June.

Google Earth maintained a relatively stable download rate, fluctuating between 4.8K and 6.8K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users for the app remained consistent, averaging around 39.7K to 40.9K.
